BayREN continues to offer rebates from $1,000 to $4,500 for single family homeowners in the Bay Area who make energy-efficient home improvements. Eligible improvements include air sealing; duct sealing; insulation; high-efficiency furnaces, air conditioners, and water heaters; and more.
Homeowners may be eligible for incentives from $1,000 to $3,000 for a Home Upgrade, plus an additional $150 incentive to offset the cost of combustion safety testing for completed projects. Homeowners who complete an Advanced Home Upgrade may be eligible for incentives up to $4,500, plus a $300 home energy assessment rebate.
Free Home Upgrade Advisors are available to provide one-to-one assistance to help homeowners through every step of the upgrade. The BayREN website also features a list of participating contractors in the Bay Area. Homeowners who are ready to begin their upgrade may contact a participating contractor directly.
