Sidewalk Trip Hazards Repair

The City of Brisbane’s contractor, F. Ferrando & repairing numerous sidewalk trip hazards as of Monday, August 26.  Work is anticipated to be completed at around the end of October.  Trip hazards are uneven sections of the sidewalk that have enough of a difference in elevation, primarily due to tree root growth, to cause an unsafe condition for pedestrians.  These trip hazards are located in town, in Crocker Industrial Park, and at the Ridge, and repairs to all trip hazards will take about two months.  “No parking” signs will be posted 72 hours in advance of the work in each specific area that is being repaired.  Pedestrians will be accomodated during the construction.
