Everyone should have access to the nutritious foods they need to live a healthy, productive life. Second Harvest Food Bank (SHFB) has a variety of services that you can learn more by calling their Food Connection Hotline: 1-800-984-3663 Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.
This hotline connects people in need with food programs in their neighborhood. Staff members speak English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
- CalFresh (Food Stamps) - an EBT card to buy food
- Family Harvest - groceries for families with children under 18
- Produce Mobile - fruits/vegetables for anyone in need
- Pantries - groceries for anyone in need
- Kids N.O.W. - free food for children to take home on weekends and over school vacations
- Brown Bag - groceries for people over 60 and disabled people 55+
- Partners in Need (PIN) - groceries for Food Bank volunteers
- WIC - nutrition education and food for pregnant women, infants, and young children (call 1-888-942-9675 directly)

The Community Development Department accepted comments on the Baylands Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for 228 days, from June 11, 2013 to January 24, 2014. Comments received on the Baylands DEIR are now available for review online via the Baylands DEIR Comments page. The comments can also be viewed at the Community Development Department at City Hall (50 Park Place, Brisbane).
The Urban Land Institute (ULI), through its Advisory Services program, provides Technical Assistance Panels, or TAPs, to address land use challenges that require local knowledge to resolve. Together with community stakeholders, the TAP focused on Crocker Industrial Park, including viable design options and implementation objectives.
