SamTrans Service Changes

Printer-friendly version

Following adoption of the Samtrans Service Plan in May 2013, staff at Samtrans began working on implementing the service changes.  The following changes to the routes that service Brisbane go into effect on Sunday, January 26th:

Route 24 (high school route) – Trip times will be adjusted to improve on-time performance.  Departure from Old County/San Francisco is scheduled 2 minutes earlier

Route 29 (Lipman route) – Trip times will be adjusted to improve on-time performance.  Timing slightly adjusted a minute earlier at certain points

Route 292 (Downtown SF to San Mateo) – Only change is that it will no longer service B street in San Mateo.  Will continue straight down Delaware instead.  Trip times will be adjusted appropriately.

Route 397 (night owl service) - Trip times will be adjusted to improve on-time performance.  Timing slightly adjusted a minute earlier at certain points.

Also, Samtrans will changing out their old bus stop signs with ones that look like this, which incorporates a unique bus stop identification number for each stop, allowing riders to get real-time bus departure information from 511 and 511.org.
