City Council to Review Parkside Alternatives at 9/1 Meeting

Printer-friendly version

Join the City Council on Thursday, September 1 at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall as they continue their discussion of the three preliminary Parkside Concept Alternatives! City consultants MIG presented the three Alternatives at the June 2, 2016 City Council meeting, which illustrate different land use scenarios for the Parkside Plan Area. The Alternatives are available on the Parkside Plan Documents page. After the Council received public comments on the Alternatives, the Council continued their discussion to a future meeting to provide additional time for review. Click here to see video of the Council’s June 2 Parkside discussion on YouTube.

At the 9/1 Council meeting, MIG will present several photosimulations and renderings to help better envision the pedestrian environment and visual impacts of the different land use Alternatives. Building massing renderings are attached to the agenda report for the September 1 meeting. Photosimulations providing a more detailed look at potential structures from a pedestrian level will be presented at the 9/1 meeting.

For Parkside Plan updates and events, visit the Parkside Plan webpage. You can also sign up for email notifications so you don’t miss any Parkside Plan milestones!
