The Mothers of Brisbane (M.O.B.) was formed in early 2005 by group of mothers in Brisbane.  We are single, partnered, married, gay, straight, working, stay-at-home, and self-employed moms. We come from different backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, and experiences – but through it all, we are mothers.  We wanted to create a place where moms could come together to make friends, learn about community resources, hold fun family events, arrange playgroups and childcare, share information and support, and generally have a good time together. Come to a meeting – membership is currently free! The M.O.B. is a mothers’ club and welcoming community of support for parents of young children in Brisbane. We currently have over 70 members, and about 15-20 moms that meet regularly - visit www.mothersofbrisbane.com for club calendar.  Join the M.O.B. for "fun nights out" on the 2nd Thursday every other month starting in January.  Contact Jessica Aloft at 415-867-0112 for location and more information.  Feel free to drop in late if you need to and stay for all or part of the meeting – we understand the challenges of juggling work, childcare, dinner, etc!
