The City offers discounts on water and sewer bills for low-income households. If you are receiving a low-income discount from PG&E via their CARE Program (California Alternate Rates for Energy), then you are eligible to receive a 15% discount on your water and sewer bill from the City. The only documentation we need is a copy of your PG&E bill, which shows that you are on their CARE program. Applications for CARE are located at the local PG&E office or on-line at www.pge.com/care. If you need us to, we will print an application off of the PG&E Web site for you. Just call ahead so we can have it waiting for you when you come in.
