Farmers' Market

Printer-friendly version

In April 2012, West Coast Farmers Market Association (WCFMA) launched Brisbane's first-ever farmers' market.  Other farmers' market associations had inquired about the possibility of bringing a market to town, but WCFMA was the first to take a chance on our small city.  Two years later, it's still alive and running, with the vendors who come to Brisbane falling in love with the small-town atmosphere and warm and friendly Brisbane shoppers!  And, Market Manager Jerry Lami, pictured above with his partner, Diane, really enjoy coming to Brisbane each week.

The market takes place Thursdays from 3pm - 7pm in the Community Park (11 Old County Rd., Brisbane).  In May 2014, a second weekend market was added.  That market takes place Sundays from 9am - 1pm, and held also in the Community Park.

Shop fresh-baked goods, local and organic produce, honey harvested right from Brisbane, and olive oils and balsamic vinaigrettes that are sure to enhance any dish you're preparing.  During the warmer months, there is live music being played.  Each week there is a drawing for a free market basket.  Just fill out the Market Basket Raffle Entry Form and drop it off at the Information Booth (you don't have to be present to win).  Now come out and enjoy the next market!
