These updates are intended to inform the public on projects that may have an impact due to traffic, construction noise, interruptions in utility services, etc. This list is not inclusive of all projects underway in the City.
 

NOTIFICATION OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY

BAYSHORE CORRIDOR NORTH SOUTH BIKEWAY PROJECT – PHASE II

Pavex Construction, Inc. will perform the Bayshore Bikeway Phase II Construction between Valley Drive and Geneva Avenue.  The work consists of modifying the roadway shoulders into bike lane by repaving and restriping the asphalt pavement surface and installing a rumble strip between vehicular and bicycle traffic.  In addition, the contractor will be constructing a new concrete median between Valley Dr. and Guadalupe Canyon Parkway, and installing new street markings and signs.

The working hours for the project are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  One lane closures in each direction will be allowed as needed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.  No weekend work is anticipated.  The work is scheduled to begin on July 11th, 2011 and be completed by September 16th, 2011. 

Traffic flow may be impacted during construction hours.  Please obey any construction speed limit signs and maintain a safe speed when driving through the construction area.
