2014 Concerts in the Park - Call for Sponsors!

As you may or may not know, Concerts in the Park is brought to the Community each year solely by the sponsorships of the business community, along with some Brisbane families who love the Concerts and what they bring to this Community - a chance for all ages to gather and have a great time together on a Friday night in our beautiful Community Park.  If you would like to be a Sponsor for the 2014 Concerts in the Park Series, please contact Recreation Supervisor Steve Beaty at or (415) 508-2144.  Thanks in advance for your support!!

The Houserockers (Rock & Soul), Friday, July 26
The Houserockers kicked off the first Concert in the Park.  They are a Rock & Soul band out of Los Gatos, CA and play the greatest songs ever recorded. With a wailing 5-piece horn section and a rock solid rhythm section that includes 2 guitars, bass, drums and keys, they bring the timeless classics to life.
The Cocktail Monkeys (80’s & Funk) Friday, August 2
Covering the best of music of the decades from the 60’s through current favorites, The Cocktail Monkey’s songs range from rock, pop, funk & disco.
The California Cowboys (Country Western), Friday, August 9
Cowboy boots were dusted off to welcome The California Cowboys back to town! Great vocals and great hooks had the crowd singing along with one of the West Coast’s premier country bands.
Foreverland (Michael Jackson Tribute Band) Friday, August 16
It was for sure an electrifying night with Foreverland in the Community Park, a 14-piece tribute to Michael Jackson! The band boasts 4 lead singers, 4 horns, and a 6-person rhythm section.
Brisbane Locals Night: Jeff Cotton’s Gin Joint (Light Rock) and
Jerry Kuhel & the Side Effects (Rockabilly & Swing), Friday, August 23
For the first time in Concerts in the Park history, two local bands entertained the crowds at Concerts in the Park. The night started with Jeff Cotton’s Gin Joint, and wrapped up with Jerry Kuhel & the Side Effects. Sound Productions emcee'd and provided quality sound services.
The Hot Rods (50’s & 60’s) Friday, August 30
Closing out the 2013 Concerts in the Park series were The Hot Rods, a get-up-and-dance musical tribute to early Rock & Roll! Their authentic show took us back to cruisin’ cars, sock-hops, beach parties, and the best Rock & Roll of all time.
